Background color
-
Dear WordPress Support,
I have just created a new blog and upgraded to the premium theme called “traveler” i then changed my background colour to white through the “background” tab you have displayed underneath the “appearances” option in the dashboard.
anyway the white background colour that I chose seems to be working on all my pages and categories but not my “about” page…it has stayed the same colour of the default.
I have done the cookies and cache thing that was suggested when I went to find help but that didnt work….what can I do?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there,
Are you talking about the black background page color here:
You will see that the background of the page is white as you set it, but the page background color is black. Unfortunately, it was written into the theme this way. The only way you would be able to change the page background color is with the Custom Design upgrade and editing the CSS. What’s great about this upgrade is that you get Custom colors and fonts in addition to editing the CSS.
Most of our CSS support is done in our community forums by both staff and volunteers:

When you create a CSS-related help request, please make sure to select or link to the WordPress.com blog you’re working on and include a clear description of the change you’re trying to make. It helps a lot.
To learn more about how CSS editing works at WordPress.com, see this help page:

Also, since you have a Premium Theme, you can get direct support from the theme authors here:

If you have any questions about this please let me know!
