  i wanted to buy the “collective” premium theme and i was wondering whether i can change the color of the background without having to pay a yearly fee in form of the “individual design” or not.

  Based on what I see at the link below, changing the background is one of the options that are included with the collective theme–no custom design upgrade required:

  thank you for your answer. i bought the theme and changing the background colour costs 24€ per year extra,

  Hm, that is not what I expected. If you go to appearance>background on your dashboard are you not able to change it there either?

  If not, and it’s a deal breaker you can get a refund on the theme, just go to Store>my upgrades from your dashboard and click cancel.
