Background color

I want to change the background color of my site (which is now white), to another color (#e1e3da). When I go to the editor and replace #fff with #e1e3da to color stays the same. Can somebody help me?

Hi @gunnarhendrik, it looks like you are using WordPress but you are not hosted here at WordPress.com. For self-hosted WordPress sites such as yours, I would suggest asking for help from the theme author directly or ask in the volunteer-based WordPress.org Themes and Templates forum.

I did take a quick look at your site and I’m not entirely sure what color you are wanting to change. The following would change the bulk of the white background white area on static pages, such as Zomerprogramma 2016.
.site { background: #e1e3da; }On your front page, there are two different background colors. If you look within <main> you will find even and odd. You would need to target those to change the colors on them.
Hope that gets you going, and best of luck with your site.
