  • Hi –

    Thanks for getting in touch. I think that I can get this sorted out for you with some CSS work.

    First – let’s be sure I fully understand what you’re looking to change.

    It sounds like you want to turn the gray bar under the header, and again at the bottom of the page, to be white?

    Hi there, I managed to change the grey into white that was in my background, but I have another question about the grey bar between my site title and recent post, how do I make it look thinner? And how do I change its color if I wanted it to look darker?

    Hello there!

    You can change the thickness and the color of this bar by manipulating the following CSS and entering it into your Customise > CSS section:

    #masthead {
        border-bottom: 20px solid rgba(1,1,1,.04);
    }

    Basically to break this down a little for you if your not familiar with CSS, it is saying this particular section has a bottom border and it is 20px in thickness, it is a solid border and the color it is given is rgba(1,1,1,.04).

    If you would like to the change the thickness of the border, simply exchange 20px for another px value (for example 10px would be half the thickness).

    If you would like to change the color of this border you can exchange “rgba(1,1,1,.04)” with any color value available (for example grey).

    Hoping this helps, and if you run into any trouble pop back in and I would more then happy to clarify further.

    Cheers
