  Hey i’m new to wordpress and I just want to use the DePo Masthead theme. I want it to be a white background with black text. I have no idea how or why my background permanently switched to black, no matter what other theme I use, and the text is black. I need to change one of them but I cannot see anyway to change this and I have been searching forever. In serious need of help! Readers can’t even see the words on my current theme. Just need to know how to change the background color of a theme. I also have the css upgrade.

  We need a link to the blog, starting with http. Also, have you got much experience with the CSS upgrade? It’s not recommended for people who don’t already know CSS well.
