Background color customization trouble

  I have upgraded and I have attempted to customize the background color of my blog. When I chose my color it shows properly, and then I save it, but when I go to view, it only shows a faded, washed out, version. Manifesto is my theme.

  Hi there!

  Are you still having issues setting your background color? Can you give me the 6 digit code of the color you are trying to set it to? You can find this in the Customizer by selecting the color circle and thing clicking on ‘pick your own color’:
