background color for text

Color behind the text of my posts is now yellow. I don’t know how that happened. How can I change it back to white?

Looking at your account, you have no sites listed. Do you perhaps have another WordPress.com account?
Otherwise, could you please share your site URL?

Hi Janice,
That yellow background is a featured of your theme – if you set a post as sticky, it gets that background to distinguish it from other posts.
If you want to remove it, add this CSS code in the Customizer:
/* Remove background on sticky posts */ .sticky { background: none; }Just for future reference, your site isn’t hosted here on WordPress.com, but using the open source WordPress software made on WordPress.org, and you’re hosting it at Dreamhost.com.
Support for your version of WordPress is provided by the WordPress.org community in their forums at https://wordpress.org/support/forums/
But the Coraline theme you’re using was made by us, so specifically for issues with that theme, we’re able to help you here even if you’re not hosted with us.
