Background color header
-
I have my page set up with a background color, but it does not continue in the area of the header image. The background color is only below the header, and the header and above are still white background. I’d like the background color to go across the board, or maybe a slightly different tone. But either way, not white!
Is there anything I can do to make there be color behind my header image? Thank you!

Hey Richard!
Hey there!
Since you have the Premium upgrade, you can adjust your theme’s CSS to change the color of that header wrapper.
If you’d like to give this a try, go to your customizer by clicking the link below:
https://popcorntheology1.wordpress.com/wp-admin/customize.php?return=%2Fwp-admin%2FThen, click CSS in your menu. In the CSS Revisions box, please paste the following underneath all existing text:
.masthead-wrapper {
background: #000;
}Then Save your changes. That should do the trick!
I arbitrarily chose black as a background color, so you could see a major change. However, you can choose any hex color you wish. Hex colors can be explored here:

For more detailed instruction on how you can make CSS adjustments on your own, take a look at these two links:

By the way — I’m looking forward to seeing more of your site, as it grows!
