Background color on Modularity Lite Theme
-
Hi there
I have been blogging with WordPress for many years now and this is the first time I have had to ask a question (so I am quite nervous!!) – all my problems have always been solved by reading up in the Forums and Support. Testament to just how good your support actually is … thanks!
I have 3 blogs using the Modularity Lite theme and notice that after changing the background colour:
– only the home page (post page) changes on the .com blogs (http://gctennis.com/ and http://saschoolstennis.com/) – the other pages stay black
– on the .wordpress.com site (http://saopen250.wordpress.com) all the pages take on the background colorWhy is this? Once I select a background color I would ideally like it to display on all pages.
If possible please don’t print the names of my blogs.
Thanks for all your wonderful support!
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Heelothere,
First I’m going to post all the URLs so we Volunteers can click them and begin to figure out what’s going on:

Hello timethief
Yeah … no problem I realise you have to :-)
I think that I have almost worked out what is going on. In the top 2 blogs mentioned above the pages do not accept my chosen background color when I change the page layout to full width – it only works when the page has the sidebar.
However on the 3 blog – the pages have taken on the colour despite being changed to full width.
Can you help – I really would like ALL the pages to have the same background.
Thanks so much for looking into this for me – much appreciated. You guys are always so helpful!

This is really strange. I looked through the CSS and it is the footer wrapper (widget area) that is somehow encroaching on the content area. Since this is something staff need to fix, I’m not going to dig into it though.
