Background Colour and hiding stuff

  hi there, i’m another newbie – i’ve just created this blog and i’d like to change the background colour and also remove dates, categories, tagged & Linked…. not much really! :)

  do i need to get the CSS update… and if so can anyone help with what i need to change?

  And yes, if you want to do MOST of that, you’ll need the CSS upgrade. If you want to do all of it, you’re probably out of luck, as on a lot of themes removing the dates or tags also removes important stuff like the titles, comment links, etc.

  With the CSS upgrade, and the particular theme you are using, you can hide the date and leave a comment link at the top of the posts, but the stuff at the bottom becomes a little more difficult without also taking away the “leave a comment” link. Did you want to take that link away as well? If so as I said, it can be done.
