Background colour for clicked images – Modularity Lite

I have a customised version of modularity lite. I have everything pretty much as I want it. However, my blog background is white but when viewers click on my images for a clearer, larger view, the background colour of the new page is a dark grey. I would like this background colour to be white also to fit with the way my pictures are framed. I have been through the CSS so many times now and I just cannot see where this colour is set.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.Thanks

This seems to be a browser issue and not a theme issue. Firefox is creating the dark grey background. Thankfully explorer doesn’t do this.

What is happening is that you have set your images so that they will open directly in a browser when clicked. The gray background in Firefox is the background chosen by the browser itself since you have selected to open an image directly without any HTML or control at all from your theme. In other words, because you are opening the files directly, that background color is controlled by the browser settings, not the website’s theme.
