Background colour of transparent images

    Hi, how do I set the background colour of captioned images? See, I have added an image from a URL and whenever I add a caption the background of the image is set to black, when I would like it to be white. When I don’t add a caption the background to the image is the same as for the rest of my blog (white), which I am satisfied with. But I like to give images captions, as I tend to write my blog as a scientific report.
