background disappeared

  my background image is not showing up in my blog (autofocus theme), though when i go to edit the background under ‘appearances’ it’s still all set up as it should be for the background to appear. help!

  The bg image isn’t showing because you’ve messed things up by pasting the entire stylesheet of the theme into the CSS editor. You must delete everything and paste only the changes you make.

  I’m not really using the CSS editor to design anything. I know I opened it up to check it out and just pasted one thing to change the font color from gray to black. By ‘delete everything’, do you mean delete everything in the CSS editor? The CSS editor was full of text when I added the blurb in attempt to change the font color.
