Background for Neo-Sapien

  Hi!
  I’m new to WordPress and have no clue how to handle CSS. I have the Neo-Sapein black and red theme and I want to change:
  a) The header color from red to light gray (eg. gray 95).
  b) I also want the sidebar categories to be highlighted in not red but the same light gray (gray 95).
  c) And if possible, to extend the photo image in the header to a larger size.
