Cheers, I’ve always found WordPress support very good, I wouldn’t use anything else. ;~}
By the way, my tablet app is really badly misbehaving. I’ve checked for updates and it appears to be the latest version.
The sidebar menu won’t close and the whole thing is laggy and slow. Used to be very good, now I can’t use it at all. -
Sorry to hear the mobile app is giving you trouble. There is built-in real-time chat support within the app – could you give that a try so one of our mobile Happiness Engineers can help you out?

kokkieh – I missed your question:
Can you perhaps advise re the custom backgrounds? It appears to be working now, but yesterday I couldn’t get it to stick on any theme in my test site, no matter what I tried. Is this the same problem that cropped up with the last customizer update?
If you still need help with this, could you please start a new thread in the Themes forum and provide a link to your test site where you’re having this issue so I can take a look at what’s going on? Thanks.

Thanks for getting back to me, but I actually discovered the problem just this morning via another thread. Turns out I had the Custom Design live preview enabled in the Customizer, which apparently prevents even free changes from saving correctly.I recall something like that was mentioned when the Customizer was updated a few months ago, but couldn’t remember the details.
I’m wondering if the OP didn’t perhaps have the same problem when trying to apply a custom background.

kokkieh – gotcha. Reading the OP’s description, good thinking but none of their sites had Custom Design in trial mode. I’m always happy to take another look if they run into further trouble, seems like they’re set for now though.
