Background Image

    Maybe it’s just my computer, but see if it happens to you at my blog http://www.aaroncohenphotography.wordpress.com

    Whenever I visit my website, the background is orange for 1-5 seconds, then loads my background image.Is there a way it can immediately be my background image when viewers see my blog? It seems unattractive to newcomers.

    That’s because the image you’ve used is way too large (5.8MB, 4451px wide) so it takes too long to load. Nobody has 4451 wide screens, and screens above 1280 are the minority. You should create a smaller version of the image, optimize it for the web, and set it to fixed instead of scroll. Also set a bg color that resembles the predominant color of the image.
