  Hi, how do i take away home page dark coloured screen? I have added a background image, but it is just hiding behind the grey block of wall even though its a background image.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi,

  It looks like you’re using the Pique theme. There are setup instructions for that theme here:
  https://wordpress.com/theme/pique

  Particularly: To set a background image, assign a Featured Image to the page. The ideal size for these images is at least 1400 pixels wide and 1000 pixels tall, since it stretches the full width of your site.

  Make sure the image you’re using meets the specifications. You can read more about image optimization here:
