  Hi!

  My website: https://lesensdelamarche.fr/
  My theme: Aperitive.

  I chose a background image in the customizer but it doens’t appear. Is it a bug?
  Do you know how to do?
  Is it possible to let it appear in background of the sidebar?

  Hi,

  According to the setup documentation:
  https://wordpress.com/theme/aperitive/setup

  The image on the side background is a Custom Header Image, and it’s determined by the Featured Image you add to a post or page. You’ll want to be sure your images are big enough, too.

  Hi –

  Yes, you can add that image as an image widget in the sidebar. Take a look at this information:

  https://en.support.wordpress.com/widgets/image-widget/

  You can add those by clicking My Sites – Customize – Widget – Add New

  thanks but I would like an image background in the sidebar and not a image widget…

  Hi there,

  That’s not possible. You can only choose a background color for both your main area and your widget sidebar by going to the Customizer > Colors & Backgrounds

  Hi

  You could do it if you add a CSS code:

  
  .widget-area{
       background: url("https://lesensdelamarchefr.files.wordpress.com/2019/02/hachures.jpg");
  }
  

  Go to Customizer >CSS and paste it after the other codes.
