background image and navbar

  • Unknown's avatar

    Hi
    I have made a background image that aligns with other content on the page, but for those who are logged in at WP, the gray navbar mess it up (moves the content down 28px, but NOT the background image). Is it possible to either get the background image to move down for logged in users, or to make the gray navbar NOT load on my page? I guess I need the CSS upgrade, but that’s ok.
    I found the the following string in an old thread

    body.loggedin { background-position: 0 28px; }

    but it doesn’t seem to work when I preview it in CSS stylesheet editor. Will it work if I buy the upgrade, or is something missing?
    In the same thread it says it is possible to get the navbar not to load, but how? I am totally new to CSS, so any help will be appreciated.

    Thanks!

    The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    You ought to be able to use the Preview function here > Appearance > Edit CSS
    Aside from that I cannot be of help to you but perhaps another Volunteer can so I’m bumping this thread onto the forum front page.
