Background Image CSS Twenty Ten
-
Hello,
I bought the CSS for my blog (twenty ten theme) but cannot add a background image for the site. My file is a .png with 1.63Mb. Apparently it is okay, because I did up-loaded in the media library successfully. But for some reason when choosing in the dashboard to use this image as background the file is well up-loaded but does not appear in the homepage.
Tried to change the CSS but don’t know how to do it properly.
Thanks in advance for tips and advices.
Maria Antonia.

First off, you need to optimize that image. It should be no larger than 150k in file size or it will take forever for your site to load for people on slower internet connections and you run the risk of them hitting the back button and going elsewhere.
Secondly, you can add a background image at appearance > background. You do not need the CSS upgrade to do that.

It’s really odd. Still not working and I managed to reduce the file to 31,4k. Any other tip to make it work?
Thanks again!
