Background image has disappeared
-
Before I throw my computer out a window, someone help me. I have custom CSS and the background image is gone in my blog; it is just grey. There seems to be absolutely nothing in the custom CSS that would make the background image disappear, and for a while it was showing up in IE on my computer, but only when I was not logged in — and I’m not sure whether it’s my computer that’s screwed up or the blog. I’ve been trying to fix it for a ridiculous amount of time now, plodding along as a CSS newbie. If you have any ideas, please help!

I don’t see any evidence of custom CSS on the site linked to your username: http://melyndamoseley2011.wordpress.com/ .
Is that the site you are talking about?
With twenty ten, you would typically upload and insert your image from appearance > background. Is that how you did it originally, or did you do it directly through the CSS?

In your custom CSS is this
body { background: none repeat scroll 0 0 #2F2F2F; }That is overriding the background image (setting it to “none”) that is set at appearance > background. Remove the above from your custom CSS and the background will come back.
