Background image not displaying in Structure theme
-
Hi, I wonder if anyone can help
I am having problems getting a background image to display on my page ( http://awards.youthbusiness.org ) I have a custom logo displaying in the top left of screen as a non tiling background image, but for some reason this is no longer visible although it seem to be uploaded.I have come to the conclusion there is some setting causing this because even when I try and apply a color to the entire background in Appearance>Background>Color there is no change on the page.
Either that or some section of the CSS is missing, although I’m not sure how this could be the case.
Many thanks for your help guys

Do you have the CSS upgrade ? The reason I ask is because if so this thread will need to be moved over to the CSS forum so the CSS Guru’s will notice the thread…

Could you have accidentally deleted the background image? Do you see it in the background image preview in the Custom Background upload page?
If the image is present, you won’t see the background color change because technically the background image is covering it.

I do see it in the preview. so where do I re assign this thread to the CSS section for the attention of said Guru’s?

how best can I move it over?
Only staff and moderators have access to move threads so I went ahead and moved the thread for you…
Waving @ Jennifer, = )

sl1k has already moved the thread for you. :)
If you’ve purchased the Custom CSS upgrade, you’ll have to adjust your stylesheet to display the background image, but before you start to tinker, you should read this informative post by another forum volunteer: http://csswiz.wordpress.com/2009/10/15/if-you-have-the-wp-com-css-upgrade/

Oh, and there are a couple of pointers as well in this Support doc:
