background image not showing on live blog (shows in preview)

  I just switched to the Spectrum design and have the customization upgrade. I added a background image and it looks great in the preview. I press Save, but the background image doesn’t appear on my blog. I tried all these things already, but none of them works:
  – removed and re-selected background image
  – removed and reuploaded background image
  – refresh and forced refresh
  – tried smaller and larger file sizes
  – tried both .png and .jpg files
  – cleared cache and cookies
  Still the background image doesn’t appear. I’m using the Spectrum design. Please help!

  Hi Bryna,

  I’m sorry this is happening. You can add the image via CSS. Go to Appearance > Customize in your Dashboard and in the CSS tab, please add this:

  body.custom-background {
  	background-image: url('http://brynabutler.files.wordpress.com/2014/01/brun3bkg.jpg');
  }

  Meanwhile, I’ll bring this issue back to our team and see what’s going on. Please let me know if you have any questions with this!
