Background is "responsive" but, the content level is not.

  My background is responsive and fits to any screen size. Unfortunately my content level (above the background) does not fit from computer screen to computer screen. I have the 2014 theme.

  My site is private, please let me know what information would help. I have been suggested to create a tag linking my background and content level together but, am not sure the best place to do this.
