Background looks different on different computers

  Hi Folks, I created a simple site to promote a contest. I used the Singl theme. The URL is https://sjvccontest.wordpress.com/

  Problem…when I look at it on my computer…all of the black text is in a white block with the “background image” all around the edges. When another committee member looks at it on her computer, the white block is not there and the black text appears directly on the background image making it difficult to read. Any advice?
