Background Updates are not working as expected, some files aren't writable by WP

    Background updates ensure that WordPress can auto-update if a security update is released for the version you are currently using.

    Passed No version control systems were detected.
    Passed Your installation of WordPress doesn’t require FTP credentials to perform updates.
    Error Some files are not writable by WordPress:
    wp-load.php

    ^^^ This is the error message I keep getting. I am not good with coding or anything and got a little over my head when I made a WP website. Does anyone know how to fix this?
