Background Video on front page

  Hi:
  I’d like to know how to put a background video on my frontpage and any other pages for that matter in my site. Plz let me know how to do this. All of my sites are currently hosted on WP directly.

  Hi Lisa,

  None of the themes on WordPress.com are currently capable of using a video as a background. With HTML5 this is now technically possible, and some theme developers have made them available for use self-hosted, but we currently do not have a design available that meets the standards for WordPress.com.

  With sites using the Premium upgrade, you upload and embed videos on any post or page, or even a Widget using VideoPress:

  I hope you guys will have this available soon.
  I wish u guys would go to full HTML5 impl. It’s about time, right? I’ve been with WP for 2 yrs now and haven’t seen much movement on this. I wish it were different ;-)
  I had to go elsewhere to host my HTML5-based lisasgameapps site and my projectssite with bootstrap and only host the blog on WP….bummer.
