    Hey guys,
    i’m trying to change the backgroundcolor of my footer-widget no.2. Is that possible?

    The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  • Hi!
    If you mean the black colophon saying “Bloggen auf WordPress.com. The Forever Theme” you can change it with this Custom CSS Code:

    #colophon {background-color: red;}

    As a background color change could render hardly visible the text, you could need to change text color. To do that:

    #site-info {color: green;}
    #colophon a {color:green;}

    #site-info statement will change the color of normal text (two dots in this case) and #colophon a do the same with links.

    I hope this helps you. Enjoy blogging and have a nice weekend!

    Hi,
    thanks for your quick answer.
    unfortunately i didn’t mean the colophon.
    i meant the footer. the part above the colophon. where the postal code is written and the link to the impressum.
    is it possible to change that backgroundcolour too?

  • Ah, ok!

    In this case, you need to change supplementary area.

    #supplementary {
        background-color: red;
    }

    but also the bottom border of main area (same color):

    #main {
       border-bottom: 18px solid red;
    }

    Hope this helps you.
