  Is there a way to “back up” a weblog?

  Yes. The best way is to use an offline blog editor to compose your posts in and publish thenm to your blog from. If you use an offline blog editor then you will automatically have a backup of every post and page you create on your own compoter. There are other ways as well in this article.
