  Hi! I was trying to put another background today, but instead of having it behind the post as usual it was in front.wondering if there are any issues. had to remove it, you could not see anything. thank you

  Hi, from what I’m understanding you want this to be in the white area behind all the content. This would be the CSS.

  .site {
      background: url('https://ilmondodicate.files.wordpress.com/2015/09/wpid-wp-1442919328381.jpeg') no-repeat scroll center top /contain transparent;
  }

  It also occurred to me that you may be talking about having it as the overall background (outside of the white area. If that is the case, you can do that in the Customizer under Colors & Backgrounds.

  Ok, then go into your customizer and add the background image under Colors & backgrounds: https://en.support.wordpress.com/themes/custom-backgrounds/

  If things don’t look exactly right, let me know and I can help with any adjustments.
