Backup and restore

  Hi all. I have a backup (complete) in ZIP format created with the standard WP backup under tools. I am trying and failing to restore with the following error ‘Database restore: Failed to decode line 17762 from db file. Syntax error, malformed JSON’. I only need the blog posts in this backup. Any idea how I might be able to get this done? Thanks for your help and time.

  Your site is not hosted on WordPress.com, but using the open source WordPress.org software at another hosting provider.

  Please contact support at your hosting provider directly for help uploading that backup to their servers, or if you’re trying to do this via a backup plugin, contact support for that plugin directly instead.
