Backup and restore on premium plan?

  Can you do backups and restore on the premium plan? I.e. what happens if the site gets hacked and the content gets deleted?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  It’s up to you to do your own backups, even on the $30,000 a year VIP plan. Most people just do an Export of their sites weekly.

  My site says “832.38 MB (27%) Space Used” but when I do an Export, the xml file is 871 KB. Am I doing something wrong?

  No, export files are much more compact than the regular site. They’re compressed.

  Export files have links to the media but the media files are not in the export files.

  There currently is no easy way of backing up your media library – requested many times but the staff wants to make useless stats pages and not a real useful media backup feature

  The export files only contain the text on your blog
