backup browser needs to constantly be restored
-
Once a post is published, when I return to the edit page, this note pops up:
“The backup of this post in your browser is different from the version below. Restore the backup.:
I have Force Refreshed, cleared cache/cookies, my 3rd party is enabled, checked with my browser Chrome and it indicated that my browser is up to date.
Does this mean I need to go to the Advanced Browser Troubleshooting page or is there an easier way to rectify this problem. To be hones, I really am tech challenged.
Thank you.The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there,
This message appears when our Autosave wasn’t able to save the latest version of your post, so a copy was saved in your browser’s local storage. This happens if you go offline while working on your post. You can read more about that here: Autosave
Clicking the “restore the backup” link will restore the version saved in your browser’s local storage.
Please let me know if you have any questions about that. :)

Thank you, Rachelmcr. I did read about the Autosave. I’m curious to know if there is a time limit set while working online in our WordPress blog site?
I log in and work on line but at a certain point if I visit another blog for example, and comment, a pop up log in note comes up and/or I have to hit the WP icon to log back in. I’m just wondering why I need to log in all the time. I hope my question makes sense.
Thank you for your time. -
Hi there,
If you leave your editor open for a while in your browser without doing anything, your session will time out and you’ll see that note pop up asking you to log in again. If you know that you’re going to take a break from editing a post, I recommend clicking the “Save Draft” button, waiting for the post to save, and then closing the post editor. That way you can browse to different blogs and sites, and when you come back to your dashboard you can open the post again to continue editing it. :)

Thank you again, Rachelmcr. I will certainly follow this procedure of saving before venturing off. ☺
