Backup codes not being accepted

This is fantastically frustrating. WP won’t accept any of the backup codes I generated for my site. I did not use all of them. The ones I am using are the newest I generated. I can’t access my PAID account so I can’t speak to a human. No one is responding on the help desk email. The autorecovery form isn’t sending because it tells me if I have a working email than I can just reset my password which doesn’t help because it’s still asking for a backup code. I can only access this forum because I’m using my husband’s account to do so. I hate this stupid archaic two factor system. What the heck am I supposed to do?
