Backup data

    Hey Team,

    I was hosting my website braincuddle.com on WordPress and my hosting expired. I am unable to retrieve my backup. Please help me with this as all my writing is now gone and I have a black site.

    Hi there,

    It doesn’t look like the domain, braincuddle.com, has ever been hosted with us on WordPress.com, so I’m afraid we don’t have any of your data for that site.

    You were using WordPress, but the open source software made on WordPress.org. You had that software installed on another hosting provider’s servers, and that host would have deleted the sites files when your hosting plan with them expired.

    If you didn’t keep your own backups of the site, that hosting provider is the only people who might be able to retrieve the content for you, provided they still have a backup on their servers.

    It looks like that hosting provider is GoDaddy.com, so please contact them directly for help with this.
