Backup my site

  I would like a copy of my site and for that I need to backup the site. How do I do that?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi there,

  You can export your site’s content using the Export tool: Export

  Then, you can import it into another site with the Import tool: Import

  Hi and thanks for the info.
  I tried it and it is design for the file it creates to be imported into another word press site. I actually want a copy of my home folder where the domain sits, so I can import my site to another host.
  Any more tips, please.

  Hi Ricardo,

  To move your site to a new host, you’ll need to install the free software from WordPress.org there. Then you can import your content from your WordPress.com site.
