Backup plugin
-
If I understand correctly, because my blog is hosted on wordpress.com, I cannot install or upload plugins. I am trying to have a richer/fuller/complete backup of my blogs, as I would hate to lose all of the posts that I have done thus far. I have been doing an Export, which gets me an XML file, which supposedly will let me import into another blog, but this is not an actual backup of my database, and all of my posts, which is what I am after. Is there another way for me to get a full backup of all of my blog posts?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

This is a multiuser blogging platform. Bloggers so not have access to the database therefore, you cannot get a backup of the database. An XML export file is all you can get. https://en.support.wordpress.com/export/#backups
There is no FTP access and no blogger installed plugin capability on any free hosted WordPress.COM blogs and there is no upgrade you can purchase here that changes that reality.

http://en.support.wordpress.com/plugins/If you want FTP access and to install plugins or third party themes into a site then you will have to hire a web host http://wordpress.org/hosting/ and set up your own WordPress.org install. WordPress.org offers free software that you can install on a web server. You can upload and install themes and plugins, run ads, conduct ecommerce and edit the database.
