Backups and DEV, TEST, LIVE?

  I normally setup my systems to allow me a research and DEVelopment instance, a TEST instance and the LIVE instance. Is this possible on your site?

  I’d like to backup my DaleEMoore.WordPress.Com blog then restore the backup to my DaleEMoore1.WordPress.Com blog. Do you have a plugin or some other method implemented on your site that allows that functionality?

  If not backup from one blog then restore to another; can I backup the current instance of my blog and restore it in the future when I’m done breaking things?

  Does anyone know how to backup and restore a Blog.WordPress.Com site and restore it to OtherBlog.WordPress.Com?

  Use the export and import functions.

  However be careful, an import assumes that the existing blog is still up and pulls images from that blog. If you clear down a blog before importing its contents to another blog you will lose your images
