Backups of my blog

  I am considering purchasing the WP service to host my blog. What I’d like to know is if WP actively backs up my blog site and if so how frequently? Is it done daily?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  While we don’t know the frequency of WPcom backups, you can export your content whenever you like in order to create your own backup file. See here: https://en.support.wordpress.com/export/

  OT/ I’m not certain what you mean by purchasing the WP service to host your blog. WPcom is a a free-hosted site service where the basic site is and will remain free of charge, but you can purchase upgrades to enhance that free site./OT

  Thanks JustJennifer. I was referring to the Premium upgrade when I mentioned purchasing.

  I was hoping to learn that they backup everything with some sort periodic timeframe and what it is. Or that everything is duplicate between two or more datacenters for redundancy.

  They have at least three massive server farms in different locations and each server farm mirrors the other one. they also have a backup system away from the server farms in case all three server farms are hit by earthquakes or meteorites at the same time.

  You will get the same backup as the VIP clients (CNN.com among others)
