Backwards apostrophe marks

Can anyone tell me why in this html :
This is a quick iPhone snapshot of a drawing of mine which will be used for <a href="http://www.fraufraulein.com/anne/">Anne Guthrie</a>'s forthcoming <a href="http://noticerecordings.com">Notice Recordings</a> cassette release,, the apostrophe after “Guthrie” would be backwards ?? I get backwards apostrophes and quotation makes often, and I don’t understand whyThe blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Because it’s after the closing link tag, so the editor sees the “s” as a separate word and inserts an opening quotation mark. You should either include the apostrophe-s in the link text or use the right HTML entity instead of typing an apostrophe:
& # 8 2 1 7 ;
