Badly hacked…it seems.
-
Hey everyone!
So, not really sure where to start, other than it’s pretty obvious my site was hacked to some level of concerning degree. A couple of notes:
– First, I’m on a work computer and cannot download/install any cleanup apps without my IT department approving first (not ideal, since this is a personal portfolio site).
– Second, I’m not seeing my domain anywhere in my WordPress.com dashboard.
– Third, I’m contacting my hosting company (webhostingpad.com) to also get some insight from them in-case anything was compromised there.
– Lastly, I’m fully okay with nuking everything and starting from scratch.
That is all. I hope yall can help, feeling a bit like a dinosaur over here :)

Okay, I might’ve jumped the gun here:
Turns out i was logged into a different wordpress account, which was why i wasn’t seeing my domain in the dashboard.
However, the fact remains that the website is tagged as “dangerous” or “deceptive”
Now that I’m logged into my proper dashboard. What is the best way to clean this up?

Hello there,
This site is not hosted with us on WordPress.com, but using the open source WordPress software at another hosting provider. This is a bit different to a site hosted on WordPress.com. You can read about these differences here: https://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/
With regards to SSL certificates the hosting provider would be best placed to advise on why this happening with the site.
