Badoo redirects still happening
-
Hello again!
Yesterday I reported that a few readers had been redirected to Badoo.com from my blog. It redirects them emediatly to that site, without them clicking on any link.
The problem is still there, and hits random readers.
Our take after our own investigation is that it is caused by an ad with some sort of unclosed tag or something.
We suggest that you either check the ad for badoo.com for iffy links, or just plain remove that particular ad.The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Badoo is known for ad redirections, so it’s no biggie. Just find the ads, get rid of them. :)

We WordPress.com bloggers cannot “just find the ads, get rid of the ads”as we don’t have that kind to access to our blogs. Only Staff can do that and that’s why Staff is responding in this thread. :)WordPress.com has been running advertising on our free hosted blogs since 2006. Many bloggers do not know this because despite the fact they ticked the box required to get a free blog, they did not read the ToS. Many also do not read features page, or advertising entry in the support documents after registering their username and blog(s). Also note that as the ads do not display to us when we are logged in, and as many use browsers with ad blockers when logged out, they may not realize they are there at all. The only way to get rid of all advertising on our free hosted WordPress.com blogs is to purchase an annually renewable No-Ads upgrade.
