Baker theme mobile appearance

Hi!

I recently changed the theme of my website to Baker. It works perfectly for deskptops, but I’m having troubles with the mobile appearance: although a preview would show a quite harmonic look to it, when you actually visit the site from a mobile the texts is very unfitting–lines of 1-2 words piled upm instead of longer readable sentences. Is there a way to fix this? It’s probably something simple, but I can’t seem to fin a way to work it around.

PS: Also, my personal account for editing my website changes all the time from English to Spanish, sometimes even mixing both languages. I fine with both, but it feels as if there is something wrong with the configuration. Could you please help me with this as well? Thank you once again!

Hi! Thanks for the quick response!
(And sorry for the typos in my message; noticed them later on!)

Your screenshot looks great. That’s how I wanted it to be. Mine looks narrower — though after I wrote in here I tried to fix it a little bit by choosing different font sizes; looks better but still narrower than yours. Here is my screenshot:

It’s not terrible, and now that I see yours working fine, I guess it might be something related to phones models? (I have a Huawei Mate Pro). Let me know anyway if there is something I could do :)

PS: I fix the language thing. I set everything to English, as you already noticed, and now it’s all in one language at least. Which is good!

Hi! So, it seems the side-by-side media/text block is adding just a little extra padding. And that looks ok with smaller sections of text, but not so much with paragraphs.

If you’d like, you can remove that padding by adding this to Customize > CSS:
```
/* remove extra padding around text in Media Text block */
.wp-block-media-text .wp-block-media-text__content {
    padding: 0;
}
```
Want to try that and see if it helps? That still leaves some padding in place, just a lot less.
