banana smoothie style not working properly in IE
-
Hi,
I’m working on a blog based on the banana smoothie style which I believe I downloaded from Alex King’s site.
The only thing different is some of the graphics have been replaced….
The issue I’m having is while it looks pretty good in Firefox in IE there are some issues. My main concern is the sidebar where it seems in IE that the boxes are losing their fancy edges and in general becoming a mess. Also in IE, the image of text going up the left gutter doesn’t show unless the content makes the page go beyond it. So for instance if you go to the default page it doesn’t show in full but if you click on the post the additional content for the commenting makes it visible. This behavior is not happening in Firefox.
You can see the test version of the site here:
Any help would be greatly appreciated. I really like the look of the Banana Smoothie page but I need the site to look good in IE as well.
Thanks

By the way, I’m definitely new to WordPress but I’ve worked with Textpattern before and I can get my hands dirty with code. I was just hoping to keep this as simple as setting up my first WordPress blog was last week.

You can see from viewing the Banana Smoothie page on Alex King’s site in IE that this problem isn’t specific to how I implemented it.

Anyone know if there’s a fixed version out there?

Greets:
I’m afraid you’re at the wrong site. if you’re using the WordPress software and are hosted away from the WordPress.com servers, you need to be over at http://wordpress.org/support We’re running different software here and our answers would not apply to your situation.
Quick aside though. Banana Smoothie has a number of problems that have never need dealt with by the author.
Good luck,
