BandPage widget install only in 'dark'mode

I’m trying to install BandPage widgets on my site at: metaquorum.uk Despite the fact that I select ‘light’ option and the fact that the ‘light’ option is also selected on BandPage own widget section on their site, the widgets only install in ‘dark’ mode. Please help me ASAP. I need my page to look good now as I’m submitting preservation on Monday. Thanks , Dmitry

Hi there!
The BandPage widget’s color setting is for what color scheme your theme is. If you have a light colored theme, you want the font to be dark. And vice versa if you have a dark colored theme.
This setting does not set the background color for the widget. That is still set by the theme itself.

Thank you Shawna! Got it. Can I ask you another question? What is the Showcase side bar and how to add it to my template. I tried to add widgets to it from Widgets menu but they don’t show anywhere… Thank you!

The Twenty Eleven theme has a special Showcase Template. You can see what that looks like in the demo here:
http://twentyelevendemo.wordpress.com/showcase/
Anything in the Showcase widget area will only appear on pages with the Showcase template active.
If you’d like to use the template, just create a page and select the template under Page Attributes (directly below the publish button).
