Banned during account creation?

I am a media developer at a high school and some of our students are struggling to make accounts today. 75% were able to do so with no problem, but 25% were banned? They are all using the same naming protocol for their accounts (firstnamelastinitialsomenumber) and we cannot identify why some are having issues and others are not. Yikes!

Hi @baylordemo, our system probably thought there was a problem since we got so many signups from one IP address. After so many signups from the same network address, we block new signups.
The students should be able to sign up from home, and that may be the easiest solution for now.
But if you’re going to go through this process again, can you get in touch with us in advance so that we can find your current network address, and make sure it does not get blocked?
