  Well, I’ve recently set up my blog – and the first thing I did was photoshop myself a suitable banner. I have searched google and these forums, and I can’t find out how to get the thing to show up!

  Sorry for the ‘newby’ question, but – anyone care to show me the light?

  Please make sure you include your blog’s URL when you post a question, or link your nickname to your blog as explained in the Sticky “8 Things to Know”.

  Banner – what size and where do you want it to show up?

  Well – the Blog is here: http://backseatplayer.wordpress.com/

  It’s not so much a size or area issue – it’s that I literally can’t find the place to insert the thing in my dashboard. It’s intended for the top of the screen, to replace the “Player Two” title.

  Is this possible?

  Without the CSS upgrade, you can only upload a header banner in the themes that allow for a “Custom Image Header”.

  In almost all themes you can have a suitably sized banner in your sidebar, by pasting the code for it in a Text widget.
