banner disappears when clicked

  banner disappears when clicked,.. > selected the banner>enter html code> banner appears>publish site> testing.. the banner disappears.
  HOW TO RESOLVE?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Can you clarify a few things for me?

  What is the address of the page the banner isn’t showing on? What does the banner look like and where are you expecting to see it on the page?

  Once we know where to look we can troubleshoot a bit further. Thanks!

  Just to add here, that because WordPress.com is a shared environment, certain codes are not allowed here for security reasons. You can read more on that at https://en.support.wordpress.com/code/ So if your banner HTML code includes any of that code, it won’t get posted.

  If you are not sure about that, you can post the code you are trying to paste here between CODE tags or backticks and we’ll take a look.
