    hi~~
i am currently having trouble with my banner. the directions for the presentation i am using is telling me how to put it there but when i put the url in the picture for the banner/header does not come up and i think i might be doing something wrong…please help by clarifying this for me, anyone?
help would be appreciated very much!!^^

the directions to put my own header in is this~~~

To use your own header image enter the complete url into the Header Image URL box below – eg “http://www.yoursite.com/yourfile.jpg”. To fill the header area completely you should make the image 730 pixels wide by 140 pixels high. Any smaller and the image will tile. To use one of the supplied images simply leave this box blank and select the image from the drop down.

Do you have the CSS upgrade? What is the full URL of the picture you’re trying to use as a header? Is it the exact right size?

Usually you just go to Presentation—> Custom Header and upload it right there, rather than use the regular upload box and pasting in the URL.

Do you have the CSS upgrade? What is the URL of the picture? Have you confirmed that it’s the right size? All these questions have to be answered before we can move towards a solution.

With the regulus theme you have the possibility of inserting a custom header image under “Presentation” > “Current Theme Options”. There you have to insert the URL of your header image in the “Header Image URL :” field. The image doesn’t show up in the dashboard (it reads “image invalid”), but it does show up on your blog header (it does already: did you notice?).

The image you chose is 719 x 296, therefore it doesn’t look that good. Download it to your local pc, resize it to 730 x 140 and upload it to your wordpress.com blog (just as you would do to insert it in a post), then insert the new url in the header imag url field.
