Banner Image Resolution
-
I uploaded an image for my banner. When I clicked “Publish” the image lost resolution.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Images you want to use as header images must be created in the exact pixel dimensions the theme requires (you can see these dimensions in Appearance > Header). If they are larger, they will be cropped. If they are smaller, cropping involves blowing up as well, so you lose quality.

Thanks for the reply. – I sized the image to the pixel size stated. I still lost quality/resolution when I clicked “Publish”.

You’re welcome.
The URL of your current header image is this:
http://parkcitymountainrealestate.files.wordpress.com/2013/02/cropped-website-banner1.png
The word “cropped” in the name shows it’s the version created by WP after cropping, so the original was not 984×242 pixels.
